I’m always trying to get the most enjoyment from the money I spend on gaming. I picked up a copy of Plants vs Zombies recently. I’d played the demo before, but that really doesn’t do the game a whole lot of justice. After playing almost 100 hours I had around 50 different plants to defend several different settings including a swimming pool and the roof against more than 2 dozen different types of zombie.
Once I finished the adventure mode, there were mini-games that included bowling with walnuts, a casino style slot machine game and whack-a-mole vase shattering. Then there were challenges and achievements. A garden to grow plants tops everything off.
Blizzard Entertainment has a similar mini-game in World of Warcraft. I didn’t enjoy that version so much but the real thing is nothing like Blizzard’s interpretation.
